| what's going on My yorkie is 6 months old and sometimes when i come home from work i find him throwing up. I always watch him for an hour to make sure he stops but i don't see anything that comes out other than this liquid that looks like stomach acid. I'm very worried about him what should i do? The vet just told me to watch him and make sure he doesn't go for more than an hour. |

| I don't know how long you leave him alone, or how long it's been since he's eaten, but it sounds like his tummy gets too empty to me. My girl will throw up bile when she's been hungry too long. I'm home though so I feed 3 times a day minimum and sometimes more, but small amounts. When I was working I left plenty of dry food down for snacks as needed. Hope this helps.

| I'm gone for half the day this week but my boyfriends with him all day and he always has food out for my Kiroshi. I always call in to make sure that Kiroshi is okay and that he's gone outside to play. Neither my boyfriend or I have seen him eat his feces so i don't think its that either. |

| Make an appointment with the vet...In the meantime, make sure he's getting enough fluids...if he's vomitting he could get dehydrated very quickly. You might try giving pedialyte. |
