| Levi is not feeling well..... So I have a 3:50 appointment today for Levi to see the vet. He was acting very strangely last night. He seemed warm and was achy, hard to describe but just not himself. He wimpered when I picked him up. Is it possible he is having a flair up from his lyme disease? I never knew that this was possible, but I was doing some reading and it seems like this can happen. I am a little nervous because I am scheduled to get on a plane on Saturday. Anyone ever heard of a relapse with Lyme disease.

| Oh no! So sorry he's not feeling well. I have heard of Lymes not completely being cleared in humans... but that doc got his license suspended... his thoughts were that the length of time that insurance companies approved for AB therapy for treating Lymes Disease was not long enough, as many of his patients with Lymes returned still not feeling 100% after AB therapy stopped. Hope that helps you...

| I don't know anything about Lymes, but I'm sorry your Levi isn't feeling well. Hopefully your vet gave you some answers today. How is the little guy feeling now?

| Levi UPDATE: First thank you to for all of the well wishes on this thread. You guys are amazing. Also thank you to 107Barney for her text messages of support. It really means a lot to me. What I found out today about Lyme disease, dogs don't get a flare up but can get a reoccurrence. Dogs can get bit by another infected tick and get Lyme disease again. Thankfully Levi doesn't have Lyme disease again and his blood work was all good. My vet did the Lyme 4DX test to rule out Levi still having Lyme in his system and he was clean. Only problem is we have no idea why Levi was so ill yesterday and last night, almost like a child with the flu. I will keep an eye on him and will be starting a food allergy trial in the near future as I did find out that his allergies are still not any better.

| I'm happy to hear that Levi does not have Lyme disease again and that his labs came back clean. Hoping that it was just a 24 hour thing and that he won't have any more problems. Hope you can figure out his allergies too.
