| Oh I am so sorry about your baby. Maximo a member here sells the Buddy Belt. IDK if she ships to the UK but you might pm her. Buddy Belts are what we use and the don't go anywhere near the neck. I know you are so worried, but a collar shouldn't be used at all on a small dog especially one with tracheal issues. I am sure you know that and that is why you are asking for help...here is a link to Kristin's (Maximo) thread. I hope she can help you out..http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/yor...ial-offer.html I will keep your baby in my prayers.

| You cant ever put a collar on her again. If nothing else find a vest harness. Yes she can live with collasped trachea. There are varrying degrees of severity with it but youve got to protect that area so it doesnt get any worse than its just going to naturally

| What you are describing sounds like it may be a reverse sneeze instead of collapsing trachea. Check these videos out to see what you think: Reverse Sneeze Collapsing Trachea: It very well could be CT, but thought you should see the difference between the two. With reverse sneeze they breathe in and out rapidly making snorting sounds. With CT, it is more on expiration and is a honking sound that they make.

Oh, and by the way, rubbing the front of the throat on a pup with CT will stimulate the trachea and make them cough if they have CT. With reverse sneeze, it stops it.

I couldn't find (at the time) a harness for Harry that didn't involve his neck, over here! I looked into Buddy Belts, but ended up buying the Choke Free. It's ingenious and we haven't had a single choke as it involves the shoulders only. I had mine shipped over from the USA (postage was next to nothing, as it's so light). I got ours through Freidas Boutique. I emailed Dee there, and she was incredibly helpful, talked me through sizing etc. Her email address is FreidasBoutique@aol.com if that helps! Oh, and since then, I've found quite a few (different sorts) on Amazon. Good luck! Sally + Harry x | |

| My dog reverse sneezes too. When it first happened years ago I took her to the vet bc I was freaking out. He took an x-ray and said her trachea was fine. Did the vet do an x-ray or just "guess"?
