| UPDATE -- Gracie's Pathology My vet called me this morning and Gracie's pathology came back with NO CANCER / TUMOR! Very, very, very happy! She's closed today but we go back in tomorrow afternoon for a follow up visit. Will find out more then but I know she's still got a long recovery ahead of her. As per my regular vet, Gracie has had a smoldering/bad pancreas issue for quite some time for her pancreas to be as bad as it is. She had no symptoms until her first attack in April and she's had 2 more since then. After her second attack in June, she was hospitalized for 2 nights and 3 days at a vet who I had never been to. My regular vet had taken herself off call and could't get to us till later in the afternoon and she recommended I go to this other vet because Gracie didn't need to wait. They put her on SD Z/D Ultra Allergen Free due to her allergies. Previously she was on SD C/D. Third attack this month, we go to my regular vet. We had been to see her just the week before and Gracie was fine and she did not see a need to test her. So over the course of 8 days she spent 6 nights in the hospital and had surgery on the 9th day. Thankfully, she has bee home since after her surgery Thursday. She is now on SD I/D, 4 small meals a day. Nothing else ever! My vet has been beyond wonderful! My Mom or I camped out with Gracie everyday she was there. My vet has been very emotional herself about the whole thing and unless there was some mistake, didn't not charge for a ER visit when I had to take her back in on a Sunday, her xray, ultrasound or every night of her stay. I feel VERY guilty for having missed some symptom of what was going on. I keep thinking back and she has never really acted off and we have been in and out of the vet often in the past year for Gracie's allergies. She's started playing like her old self yesterday and was so glad to get to my Mom's house this morning. I love her soooo much and hate this for her. Sorry for the long post.

| No need to apologize. Very happy to hear the good news about the pathology report and that Gracie is playing and happy. Sending prayers that the new diet will keep her stabilized and healthy.
