Hi! My name is Tiffany and my little puppy Toby who is 14 weeks old is very sick. I can not figure it out. He stopped eating so I was giving him nutra-stat for his blood sugar. However, it has been 2 days and he is not eating. He is not responding to my voice and I am having to force feed him with a sirenge. If any one knows what I can do to help him. He is crying when I hold him and I can not find a vet open. Please help. I don't know if he will make it until monday

oh my gosh i'm so sorry!! where did you get him? could you try calling the breeder? Is there an emergency vet by you?? I'll have you and Toby in my prayers!!

I would strongly suggest an emergency vet. This sounds VERY serious if he is not responding. You are doing the right thing by making sure he gets fluids and feeding him the Nutrical. Emergency vets are open 24/7. I will warn you in advance that a lot of them only take cash...some take a credit card....and the ones around here will not take checks. If there isn't one close, call the breeder you got him from like Megan suggested. Keep him warm. I sure hope someone can get on here and help you and Toby. Please keep us updated. How are his eyes? Are they clear and shiney or glazed over looking?

Don't wait too long, this sounds very serious.

Like everyone else said get him to a vet now! Poor baby and I know how stressful it is for you. Have you tried baby food, hamburger anything that he will eat. If you ar efeeding him hard food I would try caesars soft most puppies will eat this. Please let us know how he is doing.

Im so sorry your little Toby is sick. Keep him hydrated and give him nutrical. It doesnt sound good, so I hope you can find an ER vet for him soon or contact the breeder. Please keep us posted.

I hope you can get ahold of someone. There should be a 24 hour emergency # you can call?? Keep us updated... We send hugs and kisses... Toby is in our prayers!!

I agree - the Vet NOW !! That's very young and too long to be without food and GOOOOOOD LUCK !!! PLEASE COME on and let us know how he's doing - we worry about all our babies here and we'll be waiting for you to post and let us know he's OK !!!! PLEASE go to the ER if you can't get in to see your own vet OK ?
