| Yorkies should not lose their hair like this (puppies do, but not in huge clumps like that). She needs to see the vet so they can figure out what's going on with her skin in that area and/or what's going on systemically.

| Hair loss on the head makes me think of demodex (just one of a ton of possibilities), an infection (but less likely if you haven't put her hair up lately), ringworm, or a slight chance that there is a hormonal problem.. If it came out all at once and you didn't see it happen, I suppose she could have ripped it out on accident.

| Is it in a circle? Kinda dry skin? Chewy has had ring worm a few times.. i never noticed the hair fall out but it was always in a circle and a little flaky. Definately get to a vet asap. hair loss is not normal. |

| Sure, send it to marinak324@yahoo.com. Hope i could tell if it looks similar but i dont want to scare you for no reason... its always best to see a vet. they can usually tell if its ring worm by doing a black light test. |
