| New yorkie mommy Hi everyone. I just found this site after googling my new babies symptoms. My husband bought the family a yorkie puppy on Saturday. They gave her her last puppy shot and sent her on her way. She was very quiet all day Saturday and Sunday evening she perked up a little bit and was eating and drinking and playing. She developed a cough sunday morning that only happened when she came in from outside. Monday (today) the cough was not bad but laying in the bed it sounds like she is sniffing, but its shaking her whole body. I youtubed collapsed tracheas, and it does NOT sound like that at all, and she had a kennel cough vaccine. Im calling the vet in the morning, but in the mean time is there anything i can do to make her stop the horrible snoughing (snort coughing) Oh and she has a runny nose. Thanks in advance for any advice. Im worried about her |

| Way to go! Getting back to the Vet was definitely the right thing to do. You're little girl will hopefully be up and running around in no time! |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Sorry she is not wanting to eat. Do you have nutrical? That will help keep her sugar up and hopefully stimulate her appetite. Have you tried canned food, chicken and rice anything to get her eating again?

You could also try sprinkling some low-salt chicken broth or beef broth on her food.

| I ended up boiling a little chicken and gave her some nutri-stat. She ate a little of both. Today (Thursday) She is eating normal and is very hyper LOL. Im discovering she is a toe biter and I cannot be with out shoes or socks or I get attacked (in a cute way) |
