| spay incision is oozing My pup got spayed on Wednesday and then yesterday I noticed red bumps appearing, like blisters around the incision and now it is oozing redish puss. My moms cousin came and looked at it (she works at a vets office) and said it might be an allergic reaction to the stitches on the inside. She's not acting too sick or anything, she's still eating but she is being super clingy! Has this happened to anyone? I think I'm going to take her to the vet tomorrow, its just that I'm working from 8:30-5, I just hope my mom gets out early so she can take her. I'm really worried, ahhhh I hope it's nothing too serious. oh yeah I forgot to say i've beeen keeping the onsie on her so she hasnt been trying to eat it or anything. |

| That happened when Maddie was spayed and I took her too the vet. The vet took some of the fluid and looked under the microscope and found that she had an infection. She got antibiotics and cleared up quickly. I hope you can get her to the vet!

| My mom is getting out of work early and is taking her to the vet. I called the vet last night and he said the same thing as my cousin, that she's probably have a reaction from the dissolvable stitches and if we're concerned to bring her in. I wonder if they will put her on antibiotics? |
