| Skull shift? Recently we have noticed that Lana's skull has changed. It seems to go to more of a point on the top center. For a lack of better explanation this is how I would describe it: it her skull was divided in to left and right sections, the seam where they would join is becoming more defined than before. Almost like a zipper zipping together her 2 haves. No behavior changes have occurred...she is just ALWAYS hungry (but that is nothing new)... Does anyone have any history like this? Or maybe your pup has thee same thing? Thank you |

| If it's a dome shape, I'd be concerned about hydrocephalus...

| Lana is five years old, right? Hydrocephalus is generally more of a concern in a puppy. She definitely needs to be seen by your vet IMO. |

| Hmm, five? That is odd for the skull to take on a new shape...

| Lana saw the vet last week and said it was nothing to be worried about. He suggested that maybe the reason is that we recently cut her hair and maybe there was less "padding" of her hair so to speak. It still is weird and of course jsut because I am paranoid now, but I suppose I can relax?! Thanks for all your input! I WISH I could find a forum like this for my Bichon! |
