| My Baby Maggie Kidney Failure Please Help Us. Little Maggie, 3 lbs 2 ozs, used to be a healthy, happy, and play 24 ---7. After a Rabie shot she started down hill which since then then, Dec 16th., has gone from 3.12 ozs. to 3.2 ozs. The left kidney is worse than the right but both have stones. She will be 8yrs on March 17th. She can no longer have crewd protein because the kidneys cannot process this. She never was a baby that shook but now it is a constant thing. We had a Sonagram done which showed the amount of stones. I totally lost it when the one Vet told me over the phone that they don't have to put her down yet. She is our Love and we Need Help. Janet, Bob and Maggie |

| Sorry you were dealt the news....My Julz had bad kidneys that was diagnosised when she was 10 yr, but the Dr said she more than likely was functioing on the one kidney for some time.....She was put on k/d food, we did both wet and dry to mix it up and changed her treats. She lived to almost 14 yr....I do want to add that I was never told she had stones, but she had above normal BUN and Creatin (sp)levels for many yr's....Good luck to you both and I'm sure you will find enough info here, ALOT of experienced YT to help you will chime in....
