| Scary Breathing Episode :( Has anyone had their yorkie gasp for air after playing hard. He just scared me, when he kept on gasping for air for almost 5 minutes ! Is this normal with this breed ?

| Sounds like maybe reverse sneeze? Next time he does it, cover his nostrils with your fingertips. |

| Maybe overheated... I would call the vet and ask. Maybe settle him down. Give him some water and keep cool. Good luck |

| Normally when they play hard, the will pant. Tongue out and panting. Is he actually opening his mouth and gasping to get air IN? I have never seen this before. Is it possible he is reverse sneezing? Do you know what that sounds like?

| You can pinch his nostrils. Or, just massage the front of his neck. Here is a link about it: http://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&A=2335 It really is harmless.
