My babies are 12 days old today, But I think the runt of the litter might be sick, this morning I heard a noise under my bed and it was Lexie, she took the puppy from the whelping box and had it under my bed, I dont understand why she would do that, the puppy was fine yesterday but was wining this morning, I took him from her and have him in a heating pad, he looks to be breathing kind of funny, I will be leaving to the vet in a couple minutes, they dont open for another hour, please help, I will be updating from the vet...

I will be trying the liver home remedy hopefully hes ok.

The puppy seems to be ok, the vet said he was a little bloated maybe because lexie has been ignoring him and not stimulating him to poop & pee, He said I will have to care for him myself if lexie continues to reject him, the vet made him poop and the wining has stopped a little, he is now with his mom and seems to be a little more comfortable, I just hope she doesn't hurt him, I wanted to separate him but they both seem to want each other so I dont understand why she would take him away from the rest in the first place.

I remember when your dog got stolen. I followed that thread. I hope now that the puppy will be okay. So glad you took it to be checked out. If I were you I would send a Private message to Mardelin. She has had lots of litters in the past and may be able to coach or give you some advice.

I'm so sorry to inform everyone that my little one past away this morning,
He was doing good over the weekend we stood up both saturday and sunday night to care for him, and he just could't take it anymore I hated to see him that way so I asked god to do what was best for my little guy, I'm really sad right now, because I really wanted to keep him But at least he's not suffering anymore.

I am so sorry your pup passed away. Mom must have known
something was wrong by the way she kept trying to keep him
seperated from the litter. May he R.I.P.

I really appreciate everyones kind words, the other 2 puppies are doing great they look like little piggies, Its really hard because i was by his side the whole time, It was very heartbreaking to see him suffer, But what I find amazing is that I lost my little puppy but I gained a niece, I dont understand but every single time a new baby is born someone looses a pet... I remember when my little sister was born, my fish died hours later!

I'm so sorry to hear your little one didn't make it. Mom knew something was wrong with him to be separating him from the others. I know it's hard, but mother nature has her way of doing things. RIP little one!
