That was my first thought, that Winston needs to be on an IV to rest his tummy.

Do they suspect HGE? They could have gotten a red blood count immediately which is how they diagnose HGE. IV therapy is also the treatment for HGE.

I hope they figure out what is wrong with Winston quickly.

How is winston? Any highs or lows on blood work?

I am so sorry to hear about Winston. It sounds very similar to Cali's bout with HGE. SHe needed to be hospitilized during the day for a few days and I brought her home at night. They need to keep them hydrated and Iv is the only way. The test took 5 minutes in the vets office I think it was called a Pbv(packed blood volume?) Hope he is feeling better soon but I would get some fluids into him.

Saying a prayer for Winston, hope he is feeling better!!! It is soo scary when you can't get them to eat and they continue to vomit. Our little guy is currently in the same boat but at the Vet on IV fluids as ae await the test results...
