| Whenever Buddy gets sick I feed him baby food. It's easy on the stomach, and even if he just licks a little, theres something in his tummy. Buddy will be 16 in two weeks. All he does is sleep too. He plays in the morning and afternoon for about 10-15 minutes then its sleep time. That's part of the age. Did you give the meds together? |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Sorry to hear she is feeling ill. My Cali has episodes of loose bloody stools and sometimes it is just a minor tummy upset and I give her some medicine from the vet and it clears up in a day. If your baby is still sick tomorrow you may need to find and ER vet to check her out. I hope she is ok.

YT Addict | hmm did the vet tell you why she gets bloody stools? that worries me. If she ate a lot of grass this happened once to my little girl libby. She is going to puke it up poop it out and all that. She was not feeling good for 2 days and she was crying. The crying really scared me but she puked like 4 times and pooped a bunch of grass out and she was all better on the third day But she looked really really sick to me i was about to take her to the vet but all a sudden she was feeling better. i gave her some Acidophilus too. that seemed to help but the blood in the stool scares me libby didn't have that. Senior Yorkie Talker | It is so nice to talk to someone who has an older yorkie..it makes me feel much better to hear that your baby sleeps alot also. The vet said that she has a sensative stomach and if she gets hold of the wrong thing to eat or if she gets stressed she may have the episodes of bloody stools..not much blood just enough to make me worry...I gurss i must have stressed her because i had to work today and my boyfriend was watching her. |
