Update on Kia

We saw Kia's regular Vet for her re-evaluation. He reviewed her Labs and talked with me, about the mornings occurrence two weeks ago, and said she'd had a seizure, not an infection.

He looked in her ears and said they were perfectly clean.

He re-ran her CBC, but seems to feel she is ok.

I've aged 20 years.

Oh no. When my pom had a seizure a couple of years ago, I rushed her to the er vet and they said it is not that uncommon for a dog to have a seizure over their lifetime and that she may never have another and she never did. I hope Kia's was a once in a lifetime.

Thanks, Patti. I just feel so bad, knowing that Kia had a seizure when I got up, and she was alone. She had to be so scared.

I'm really not too thrilled with the Vet that saw her that day.

I hope she never has another.

All I can think is what will I ever do wthout her?
