| If you can - buy some canned pumpkin. Not pumpkin pie mix, just plain pumpkin. Also buy some pediatlite and try to get your baby to drink some. If he/she won't - use a syringe (without the needle) and "inject" some into his/her mouth every hour or so. Plain, unsweetened yorgurt will also be good and if you can, feed your baby some cooked (unseasoned) chicken mixed with brown rice. This is the advice that I got from Yorkietalk when my baby was just tiny and had "the runs". My vet said it was "exactly" what I should have been doing and probably saved her life as she was just 1.2 pounds at the time. They can become dehydrated so very quickly that you really have to be careful. Michele :-) Last edited by rtsmichele; 05-10-2009 at 10:02 PM. |

| I took him to the vet and he said it could be the fact that my baby gets a little bit of milk every morning. the fecal test is coming back today. I feed him the Hills science plan as that is the best food on the market here in south africa? We dont have a fariety. he gets some fresh veggies in the evenings. Zet is now also a big bother as i gat another baby yesterday.!! I will introduce him and post photos as soon as i have him groomed etc. His name is trompie. ------------------- Mommo to Zet & Trompie |

| Did the vet do a fecal test? I sure hope so. Just to rule out anything serious than anything in his diet. I would certainly stop feeding him milk >
