| widget Widget has been limping on his rt hind leg and I took him to the vet Monday. He put him on some meds and thought it was his knee. I said no I think it is his hip. He then checked his hip again, had him walk and agreed. He then droped the news of Legg-perthese disease on me. I about died. He said he could tell for sure with an x-ray but I didn't want to have him put under anesthesia just yet. He was just nutered. Well I waited a day for my emotions to calm down and scheduled his x-ray for today. The vet called and said it is BOTH of his hips and he needs surgery. I give anything to be able to take his place. He is closer to me than my family. I have cried all day and I am suppose to be working. I just can't get him off my mind. Is there anyone who's dog has gone thru this and has a success story to tell me? I need all the encourgement I can find. I was worried about his right hip and had no idea it could turn out this bad. | I'm so sorry to hear about your baby. I can't help with your questions, but I'm sending prayers and hugs to you.
