| ![]() I'm wigging out. Our 6 month old was scheduled to have his neutering today. Yesterday, we took him to his Yorkie play group and he had a blast. Unfortunately, he ate some not so good stuff in the ball park which included: another dog's poop, a cigarette butt, some grass and leaves, half of a small pine cone and something else that I didn't even see until it was too late. I took him home and he seemed okay. We gave him his bath, he had his dinner and we settled in and he went to bed seeming really tired but otherwise okay. This morning we woke up to a complete mess. Vomit and diarrhea everywhere. He was coated in it and looked miserable. We cleaned him up and took him the the vet. They are doing tests on him and I'm waiting by the phone to hear any news. If he's too sick they obviously won't do the neutering. I'm sick over this and needed to vent....I feel so bad. Everyone in the play group brought papers to show that their dogs were up to date on vacination, but I'm worried. ![]() |

| ![]() Whew! Vet just called. They said it was most likely caused by over stimulation and overeating (the wrong party food) and stress. They're doing the neutering right now and I'll be picking him up tonight after work....hoping he does okay with the anesthesia. |
