I took Chloe to the vet today because I noticed that her abdomen was distended. They did an ultrasound and said it is filled with fluid. They are going to drain it tomorrow. They are consulting a specialist in LA and she is going to have another ultrasound by a tech next week. They do ultrasounds, but they have a specialist who comes in once a week to do more accurate and detailed scans.They are trying to determine if her liver is still enlarged and inflamed, or if it is shrinking and shutting down. They said her ALT is dropping, but it could mean her liver is shutting down. She seems to be doing so good. It is just up and down. Good news followed by bad.

oh geeze. If it isn't one thing its another isn't it? I hoping it is nothing or something very fixable

I am praying very hard that the specialists can figure all this out with what's going on now with Baby Chloe.

I know this must be so hard & confusing since she seems to be feeling better. Thoughts & Prayers with you & Baby Chloe tomorrow.

That just makes me sick to hear that. Poor little baby. Will keep praying for her. They can surprise you and things can turn around and lets just keep praying and believing that it will for little Chloe.

I feel so bad for little Chloe, and for you. *HUG* I will be praying that whatever this is, it is nothing serious and can be easily fixed. That poor baby has been through so much. This is such a worry for you...bless your heart.
