| Need your help!!! Bad Dreader please read Hi all, I bought my wife a teacup yorkie for Christmas from a breeder in Johnstown Ohio/new Albany Ohio. This puppy was named Braxton he was 9 weeks old. Braxton had a runny nose but we took him! The next day we took Braxen to the Vet it cost $237. Ok, This puppy had multibale things wrong. ear mite (yes) and a very bad parasite that was treatable. also was very congested. He was not resonding to the medicine so we called the breeder. She sad bring him back and she would exchange him so we did. (big mistake) here comes the bad part. The nexted puppy we called Braxton II. The first night we all got home he would not play with the other puppies acted shy. ate very little but drank ok. the next day, was the same. but that night he started having (hope i spell it right) sergures. when we fond him body temp was 92 but we got him back. that day we answer there him food/water very hr little bit at a time. again the next morning he did it again. osu animal hospital told us we did verything right on treating he. This was because a very specail person Amanda Myers fucture daughter inlaw (i hope) OSU Animal hospital told us this dog had neurological problems with no hope. also it had a spell while in there care also. We had to put Braxton II to sleep. Here is where i need you help. Who do i get in tough with to have the breeder check out and the ather puppies so someone else does not have to go through this. The breeder was not responded to me and does not answer there phone |

| I am not sure who you would contact in your town, but I would be parking my butt on that GREEDERS front porch and demanding a refund!

| Did you drive the 9 1/2 hour trip to get the first pup and then drive it back? Sounds like a byb or puppy mill to me, and most likely all those pups have problems. I would keep trying to get ahold of them, if they have an answering machine tell them you've talked to your attorney and if they don't refund your money(all of it) within a week, you will see them in small claims court. There are so many good yorkie breeders in GA. it's best if you can visit pups and meet the breeders etc. Also, don't ever buy from a breeder that advertises tea cups as there is no such thing. I do feel bad for you, and hope that the breeder will refund your money, then please find a decent breeder, there are a lot of women on here from GA that could maybe give you the names of some good breeders |

| The puppies should NOT leave the care of their mommies until 12 wks, mistake #1. Did you do any research on the greeder before purchasing ??, mistake #2 if not. Was there any health garuantee?? a reputable breeder would offer one.. if not, 3rd red flag to run away from the purchase. Being that you did purchase, I am sorry for what you guys have had to go through... I personally know what it is like to get a sick baby, fortunately my Sophie pulled through & she is still with me today & will be 2 yo in Jan. Did you personally see the enviroment the pup came from, maybe you can have her investigated to assure her dogs are being cared for properly. You can contact a local news chanel with the story... that ALWAYS raises awareness & eyebrows. BUT the first.... & VERY first thing I would recommend is making contact with the greeder, even if it means showing up on her doorstep to discuss & work things out... I would have vet bills in hand for reimbursement & refund of purchase price. JMO.... dont anyone jump down my throat. Being involved in the rescue I have seen some POORLY "cared for" dogs & just get frustrated at those that need shut down!!!

| Hello all! This is Amanda, Kyle's (soon-to-be daughter in law, Yes hopefully!). Regretfully I am the one who refferred them to this breeder after purchasing my little yorkie girl from her about a year and 6 months ago, and also have refferred others to her as well. When I purchased my little girl almost a year and a half ago I was very impressed with her puppies, her knowlege of her pups, and her facilities. To my dismay, a year and a half later, this happens. I was leary about the runny nose in the first pup, but she "seemed" to do a thorough check on him and provided them with medication to give him for a cold. After all that, we thought the bad stuff was over, that they would get a new healthy and playful puppy...but instead we got the worst. Although I can say that once she was a good breeder...now I will never reccomend her to anyone after this incident. I can't help but feel partially responsible for all of this and I want to help in any way I can to get a hold of her and get this issue resolved. If anyone can please help, or if anyone has any experience with this breeder please post or email us and let us know! Thanks in advance for all your help! |

Donating YT 10K Club Member | I'm sorry for your loss of Braxton II. Unfortunately, I highly doubt the breeder will reimburse you any of the medical expenses. Was there a contract? Generally even with a contract vet expenses are excluded. Most times a necrospy is required for a refund...and since payment was stopped on the check...you have gotten your money back. I am, frankly, a bit surprised a breeder allowed a puppy to leave the premises prior to a check clearing...but it appears she must've if the check hadn't cleared your account. I'm fairly certain there is no dog lemon laws in Ohio to enforce and your only other option may be taking the breeder to court.

| Sorry for your loss of Braxton II. Hopefully, the breeder will not give you any grief. After all, it's you all who lost out more than she did. Well maybe not. She may have just let the dog run around her home until it passed away. You, at least, rushed it to the vet to try & save it, unfortunately after dishing out who knows how much, the poor baby didn't have a chance anyway. I won't say she should give you yet another puppy because there's no way you should get another from her. I hope the other puppy is not suffering in her care... Good Luck to you and sorry again for all you had to endure in such a short time..

| responce to Amanda, emma, brutus, and (chris) From Kyle; Ammanda, we still love you and I want everyone to know we DO NOT hold you responsible. Emma and Brewtus are Good Dogs ones to be proud of as you are. You helped us up and beyond the call that anyone should have had to do. You shown us what you are made of. I just wish you did not have so many allergies so you could have been a vet. I know you will someday be an outstanding parent. (one that your kids will be proud of). To everyone else. I am more concerned about the heath of the other puppies and that the breeder can gets back on track and this not happen to anyone else. If she would just talk to us.. We are having a necrospy done by Ohio State Anamaul hospital. I should have the results in two weeks. Thank you for your responces. I do feel she needs a slap on the hand. what we are finding out through this we will not go through it again and are looking for a new puppy near atlanta Ga (with in driving distance) no shipping no running noses and at least 12 weeks old. |

| File a report with the Better Business Bureau that services your breeder's area. Also file a complaint with the consumer protection division of the attorney general's office in the state your breeder is from. I'd also file a report on Rip Off so anyone who Googles this breeder's name will find out that she sells sick puppies: Ripoff Report: By Consumers, For Consumers |

Also, They have asked for the breeders address. i gave it to them. There are a couple of us now working on this. oh by the wat everyone. the Ohio State atterny Generals office. is looking into this also. I am the third complaint. |

| This is a Horrific ordeal are going through ... I am so sorry . you were screwed twice by the same breeder, and this sickens me. The thing is the first Braxton was ill and was sent back to the breeder. that is understandable. But, If I were in the same circumstances i would have demanded A refund, and gone else where to A reputable Breeder. I understand that it is hard to tell who is a good breeder and which one is not. Especially if someone had reccomended the breeder. You had no way in knowing that this one was selling sick puppies to people. I hope everything turns out well for you and your wife. And your able to find a perfect, healthy little yorkie puppy. there are awesome breeders out there, and you might find one here in your area. Keep researching , because soon you will find a great breeder.
