Donating YT 30K Club Member | Welcome. sorry yout baby is in bad shape. Have you taken him to the vet? They need to see him and evaluate what medicine's he needs. If hs is a lot of pain I would call the vet now ot take him to a er vet. Hope he gets better soon. Please keep us posted.

| Welcome To YT. Please take your Yorkie baby to the vet ASAP! He is in so much pain, and an infection like that could spread to other areas in the body. There might be other health issues going on with him too, so it is vital to get him in. A vet is the only one who knows what medication to give.

| Is there an emergency vet around you ? Or can you call your vet and talk to them? I ask these questions because I would not wait any longer than you have to. Please seek help for your baby. All because something has worked for someone else does NOT mean it will work for your baby. Don't take chances. Last edited by Princessyorkies; 07-05-2008 at 02:58 PM. |

| Why wouldn't a vet be an option? I personally have never read about anyone using natural remedies for an infection..other things yes but not that... The constant peeing could be un-related to his tooth infection.... I would take him to a vet and then look into natural remedies as a preventative (jmo)

You're kidding right? You mean to tell me you have NO emergency vets to take this poor baby to? And, what does his being 15 years old have to do with anything. He still needs medical care and from what you've said he needs it right away. Unreal. Elaine | |

| According to what you have posted in your avatar you are in Naples Florida. Here is an Emergency vet in that area 6530 Dudley Drive Naples, FL 34105. If that is not close enough I am sure there are more. I cannot see how you can allow him to suffer until Monday. Elaine |

I have had dogs that age - you are lucky to have one live that long - but it is also a responsibility. This poor dog needs immediate help, infection in an older dog could very likely be fatal. He may not make it to Monday I am concerned about his kidneys if he is continually going to the bathroom -- please do what is right for him, not what is convenient for you!!
