| Infrequent yellow, jelly-like poop Twice since we got Buster three weeks ago, he has had a normal poop that finished with about a tablespoon of a clear, yellow, jelly-like substance that smelled stronger than normal. He hasn't had any vomitting or diahrea, and the yellow substance instances were about a week apart. He did, however, have giardia when we got him, but he is more than a week and a half past his medicine therapy and since hasn't shown any of the symptoms we associated with his infection (such as loss of appetite and loose stools). Is it normal for a Yorkie to pass a good amount this substance every once in a while? Could it me the anal glands emptying? Any input is greatly appreciated. |

| He may have eaten something that has upset his GI track. Try feeding him some Rice and Boiled Chicken (or Boiled Hamburger Meat) - You need to give his system a rest. He may also need some probiotics (plain low fat organic yogurt) to replensih the good bacteria in his system, since he had a parasite and was on antib's P.S. That is not his anal glads and it's not normal for this to happen often. |
