| Need Answers!! I have an 11 week old Yorkie, cutest ever! Her name is Paris. A week after I got her she had a Urine tract infection. Two weeks later we did an x-ray and it showed she had stone in her bladder. We just did the bile acid test and a complete blood panel and everything came back normal. What could have caused the stones??? and should i still be worried...BTW: she already passed 2 of the 3 stones that should in the x-ray. My vet is sending them to be reviewed.......thanks |

| My girlfriend's yorkie just had about 20-30 little stones removed. Turns out they were calcium build up. She has him on a special diet. She had him on special food before this and would sneak a treat of some sort. Now she is very careful not to give anything other than his food. He had had unrinary tract infections on and off. So far so good, he has been okay after surgery and he likes his food so much that she gives it to him as treats! Good luck with your little one.
