| Tired/Lethargic/Listless Zeus, 5yr old, seems to be tired or lethargic or lazy, not sure which, the last couple days. We got Augie 2/18. I'm not sure if he's depressed or if it's something medically wrong. IE. He didn't get off the couch when I came home from work, like he usually does. But yet he ran to the door when daddy came home. He is eating, drinking, wet nose, no physical pain anywhere. Food has not changed in awhile, we went from Canidae all stages to lamb & rice. Any idea what it could be?

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Do you think he was in a deep sleep when you got home or anything? Is your other baby acting normal? Hmm, I don't know...if appetite and play-activity and poos are normal - I'd probably watch it for up to a week and see what happens. If it continues, maybe bring him in after a week or so. Poor little punkin'!

| appetite & poos are normal. Baby seems fine, he's just as playful as he's been. Not sure about the deep sleep.

| I have no idea really and if I had to decide what to do, I'd probably go with Ann on this. What is his respiration? Heart rate? Temperature? Gums nice and pink? Any shaking at all? Any pacing back and forth? Are anal glands normal or do they feel very enlarged? No pee accidents? No lumps anywhere? If all of that is normal, I don't think there is any rush. Make sure he stays hydrated though.

Since so many things could cause this, blood work will probably need to be done. If everything comes back normal, I'd do a bile acid test if this continues.

| I didn't take his temp, but he is seeming a little more perky. He didn't snap at Augie when Augie jumped on him, so I'm taking that as a good sign
