| Piggy cough My puppy seems to have something wrong. Whenever she come in from outside or gets to active. She has this cough that is like a piggy snort. I'm not sure what it is. My mom thinks she might have asthma but it doesnt happen all the time i'd say she does it minimum of twice a day and it only lasts for a few minutes. She is only about a year old so shes not old at all. She has been doing it since she was maybe 5 or 6 months old. Does anyone know what this could be and if its okay? |

| chewy used to do that too...and it turned out not to be a medical prob at all, although it may be for yours... what we did was switched him from a collar (even though we had a cute one) to a little harness...this was when he gets active and is moving around there is not pressure on his neck and then we walk him and tug it doesnt hurt him, it actually makes tugging a lot more successful! maybe try it?!

| right now as bad as it seems she doesnt have a collar we have been looking for one that fits her neck. But I have wanted to buy a harness instead of a collar. |

I Love Thor Donating Member | OMG Harry does that too. On walks...he gets sooo excited, and makes that funny noise. Are you using a harness? I think it's probably fine, although if you are very concerned, you may want to visit your vet...or what for someone with better info than me to some along! |

| Riley was terrible when we first got him, he had a hack sound cough with a grunt at the end we spoke to our vet and he said he couldn't find anything medically wrong but did advise us to use a harness, since we got a harness he hardly coughs. |
