| Help!!!!! I need someone that has some kind of experience with a dog that has worms! My Meeka pooped on her potty pad tonight and there were worms in her poop!! I took a picture of them and collected the poop in a baggy to take to the vet in the morning but I just wanted to know if I could send this picture to anyone with experience to see if they knew what kind of worms they may be! I have never had a dog that has had worms!!! She is up to date on all her shots and wormings and isn't due for another worming until June! I am taking her to the vet as soon as they open this morning but I just wanted someone to look at this picture to see if it is something that I should be seriously concerned about!! Not only for my Meeka girl but for myself because I am pregnant with twins! Am I at risk for anything? Thanks you guys! I am totally in a panic here!!! By the way the worms in her poop were MOVING!!! Yes! MOVING!!! I literally almost passed out when seeing this!!!!!! |

| I've dealt with worms more than I want to admit, since we foster on occassion and when we bought Bella the worms were terrible! She had to have several strong doses of worm meds. PM me if you need to and I'll check them out for ya!

| I do not have experience with worms but my guess would be tape worms. They are generally whitish and can be picked up really anywhere. Good luck Elaine |

| The doctor confirmed today that it was tapeworms that she has. Which is why the dewormer that she is all caught up on has not had any effect on them. He gave her an injection today that will kill the tapeworms and then we go back in 2 weeks for a follow up injection to make sure it's all clear! Poor little girl! |

| I sure hope Meeka gets feeling better soon and the injection takes care of all the worms. Bless her heart. I'll keep her in my prayers.
