| Sick Sally My Yorkie has been throwing up her food since Saturday. She feels fine and plays, but not like normal. Yesterday we took her to the vet...no fever and no tender places in her abdomen. The vet gave her a shot to make her poop...making sure there was no obstruction. She pooped. The vet said not to feed her again until about 7:30 in order to let everything get out of her system. Without food, she threw up yellow bile. Then, I cooked her a small steak and she ate. She has a great appetite. She threw it up 45 minutes later. I am at a loss of what to do! Hopefully, some of you can help me! I am afraid that she will dehydrate or get weaker. |

| Try some boiled chicken and rice. Steak is way too high in fat, especially when they're not well. A bite or two under normal circumstances is fine, but not as a regular meal. Make sure that she's drinking plenty. If she likes ice cubes, give her those. If she isn't better, back to the vet is the best course of action I hope she feels better soon, poor baby!

I suspect you probably fed her too much at once, too. | |

| We'll keep her in our prayers, hope she feels better soon. Yorkies can have such delicate tummy's.
