Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | it could possibly just be a reverse sneeze, but since he's so young it could also be an upper respiratory infection. i'd take him to the vet to get him checked out

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Being as he is only 8 weeks old he may have come to you with kennel cough. I would get him to the vet today so they can make sure what it is and start some meds for him. Cali had it when I got her and gave it tomy other dog. It is very treatable just don't want to let it go and have it develop into pneumonia. Keep us posted

| Thanks so much for the replies. I will be taking him to the Vet today. Just another thing, He has diarrhea and I just noticed some blood in his last stool, He is 1.8pounds so very tiny. Could this be related? |

| Thanks for all your replies and good wishes. The vet said there wasnt anything wrong with Max and that it was all probably due to the stress and changes. Im not completely convinced......his stools were really mucusy too. He has some tablets for the diarrhea (Flagyl). I took a stool sample which they are testing. I am keeping a close eye on him. Thanks so much. |

| I think is a good idea to keep the eye on him, you can always take your baby to another vet for a second opinion too |

| Bad news Hi, I just took my yorkie, Fez (we had to change his name a couple of days after getting him......didnt know our neighbors dog was called max too until we heard him shouting it in the back garden!) back to the vet (for the 4th time) They took some Xrays and have found that there is something wrong. He either has Aspiration pneumonia or a congenital heart or lung condition. They are testing his blood and we will know if it is pneumonia tomorrow. If it isnt then they will need to perform an ultrasound. Please pray for him. |
