My sweet peanut, who I adopted 15 years ago is not doing well. Few weeks back, we brought him to the vet because he stopped eating. He had four teeth removed because they were infected. Took him a few more days and he finally ate a spoonful of calorie supplement from the vet. He went down to 9lbs from his normal 18-19 lb self

. Now he has days where he eats a whole can of food and other days he won't eat. Nothing else we can really do for him. Anyone else been in a similar situation? I hate to see them get old.

I will say a prayer for Peanut. I hope you can find out what is wrong with him and that he will be on the mend soon. Please keep us posted.

Peanut is eating much better! He has an appetite in the morning and at night. I hope he keeps it up!

Peanut passed away this morning, at home. He's buried under some beautiful shade trees. 15 years was a long time, but it's never long enough. I know he now is running free. No longer old and frail. I will miss him everyday..

I am sooooo very sorry about your kitty Peanut....he crossed to Rainbow Bridge, from the loving confines of his home, surrounded by things he was familiar with and loved, and people he loved and trusted. And his little body is resting in peace, on grounds familiar to him....and he waits for you to come get him....he is healthy, whole, and running and playing, just waiting for your familiar face.......
