| Someone who can make website help me!! I'm stuck here. I am trying to get my website set up and I'm using OSCommerce and I can't figure out what I'm doing! Do I have to make a whole other website and then integrate it? Can I just make the OSCommerce store and be done? How in the heck do I even to that. My tech support is being really annoyed with me because I am pretty clueless about the whole thing, but I think they should expect dumb questions when they say anyone without any experience can do it! Any advice?

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I feel for you - if they say anyone without experience can do their site - then they should walk you thru it and not act annoyed...that's what tech support is for ... I wish I could help you - I have my site which is for the clueless.... but it's not a store site or anything - Natalie and some others I've seen here do websites....maybe they'll be able to help you - I know you must be so frustrated. Is this for your bows ? |

| I have basic skills in HTML...but I'm not that good. Umm...do you have Microsoft Front Page? It's fairly user-friendly. I do have a good friend who does AMAZING work with web design and I don't think she charges much...Her name is Shauna. You can visit her site at PinkPawnProductions

| No they didn't give me anything. I finally forced them to help me find something that I could actually make function without having to learn the ins and outs of html. If this doesn't work, I'm going to throw a fit!

It sounds like the compnay you went with is not very customer friendly. My web host specializes in easy- do it yourself websites. I set all mine up myself but it was fairly easy to figure out. They aslo have live chat anytime I have questions. Not to sound like a salesman for them but you really can do everything with thier websites. They track sales, statistics, you can send coupons......anything. The web company is www.easystorecreator.com .

I saw that after I had already bought my hosting contract, and I was kicking myself in the butt for not having found it. But I did find a wonderful tech rep on live chat with my hosting company, and 2 hours later she has walked me through absolutely every step (in simple people terms) and I'm well on my way to having my site up!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!
