| I think you should find a position that you would enjoy and could be proud of the work you do. What that position is, is up to you. Best wishes!

| I would tell her you would like to find another job that you could be proud of, unless it really doesn't bother you. If that's the fact you could go for it. Do what makes you happy.

| I really don't think I would be able to work there. I told her I don't want to do anything that is associated with pet stores and her fiance told me to cut the BS and just get a job.. I'm only 15 1/2 so its not totally necesary for me to get a job.. But.. I don't know I'm just going to tell her that I'm not going to work there.. I'll find something else.. Her fiance will just have to get over the fact that I care about more than just myself and money. Anyways I have to get my homework done I'll be back on laterrr |

| How about a pet boutique? They don't sell any type of pets only pet goods. |

| Have you tried asking at animal hospitals? Sometimes they will hire teenagers to come in and help walk dogs, clean cages and things like that.

| It's not like you have to work at a pet store, or any animal related job. Keep your eye out for other options. |

| Do what YOU want to do. Parents always mean well, but you really do know what's best for yourself in the end.

| sounds like your moms finance is a total ***! Just from what i read tho. If they dont sell kittens or puppies i dont see why you wouldnt want to tho. I think you are young and should focus on school but then again im not your mom either or her fiance in this case. But find something you like that your going to be happy with. No teenager should have to grow up so fast that they get a job they are miserable with and have the pressure of school too. JMO |

| There are a lot of places that won't even hire you until after you turn 16 so the petstore might not even want to hire you since you are only 15. I worked at a vet clinic from the time I was 14-18 (all throughout highschool). My parents never told me I had to get a job - I wanted to work there because I wanted to be a vet and needed experience. And it paid off because I'm in vet school now. I just worked a few hours a week during the school year and quite a bit more during the summer. If you want an animal related job that isn't a petstore, I'd try to apply at a vet clinic. The most important thing is to find a job you enjoy doing because you don't want to be miserable at your job, and I'm sure the owner/manager of the business doesn't want a miserable employee
