| Pricing How much is it usually to get a cocker spaniel groomed? I'm about to finish up my grooming courses and a friend of my moms wanted me to trim her cocker spaniel up, obviously I'm gonna give her a good deal, but what is it usually? Thanks!

| The dog boutique/grooming salon I was working at before I started vet school charged $42.99 for a cocker spaniel which included a bath, cleaning out the ears, trimming the nails, expressing the anal glands, and a haircut. If there was a long skirt that required hand scissoring there would be a $7.00 extra fee.

| ^^^^That sounds about right. Cockers can have such a PIA hair to groom! Some can be reaaaallly oily too. If hers is that way, charge more! OMG they can be a pain! BTW, where are you doing your grooming course at? Just curious. Thanks! Lisa
