| Do not use this Program..... It is called Registry Cleaner. It was a pop-up and it said free, so I thot I'd give it a try. Well, first of all it only cleans up 20 problems and mine listed almost 300 problems. I thought it would delete a bunch of stuff and I told my husband who was running the program to check each thing it wanted to fix. He said he didn't think it would delete anything just fix it. SOOOOOO WRONG!!!! I don't know how much it deleted but it deleted a whole folder of fonts that I had downloaded to burn to disc later. I must have had at least 300 fonts in that folder!! I also had a really big file saved in Quatro Pro of dog records and information I have been collecting for months, ALL GONE!!! WHATEVER YOU DO - DO NOT USE THIS PROGRAM UNLESS YOU KNOW FOR A FACT WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!! I have sent them a msg to find out how to retrieve my files, I hope they can help me. Sylvia I'm so upset that I forgot to say O/T in the subject line. Sylvia Last edited by Lady of Yorkies; 06-20-2005 at 08:55 PM. |

| Thanks Kimberley, but it was our fault not the program, just make sure you know how to work a program before you use it. Sylvia |

| Are you running Windows XP? If so, you can back your computer up to the restore point from before you installed the new program that deleted all your stuff. Start -> Help & Support -> Performance & Maintenance Good luck retrieving your info or using system restore to undo changes to your computer!
