| My son and dil have a 3 year old female named Sophie. She's full of energy, and VERY intelligent. She plays with their 6 mos old kitten, no problem. They also bring her to my house to play in my fenced yard with my 2 babies. My 2 are a little timid around her, but they're not around other dogs very often. Once they're together a little while, they play like crazy. I like Boston terriers. Sophie has such an intelligent little face and her little bug eyes tickle me pink. She always looks like she's smiling.

| I have had Boston's all my life(LONG TIME haha) Our first was when I was a child, she was everyone's best friend... My hubby and I got a Boston baby before we were married and he was truly our first "child"... We had Pepper for 11 years before we tragically lost him... I now have TBone. He is 15 years old(failing) and we have had him since a baby. They are extremely smart, very loving and very low maintenance... Now that I discovered yorkies, we have 2 of them, but I will have another boston. Super breed! Boston's tolerate just about anything and are very kid tolerant... Poor old TBone doesnt play with the babies much because he is so old now but he did before he became an old grandpa! Hope tries to play with him but he just doesnt get it anymore and just walks away.. Good Luck! d

| thanks.... I am debating about whether to get a boy or girl.. lol. Gizmo isn't around other dogs much and I am scared he wont like having someone else around.. he seems to be more energized alone than with a companion, BUT at times all he wants to do is play and mommy and daddy want to relax so this is where I think him having a playmate would be ideal... |

| I think the Boston and Yorkie are very close in personality and activity.. they are both a little hyper and like to wrestle and play alot. My Boston was alot like my Tootie is when he was younger. They play very well together. d If you get a baby, you will love the way they connect... I have only had two boys of my own, our family pet when I was a child was a girl... the boys seem more lovey to me

| I grew up with a Boston and also had my own Boston who I had bred with a little champion. She had four girls and one boy. It was a lot of work in which I'll never breed another dog. Bostons are such a wonderful breed. They do just as well in a small apt. as a large home with big yard. They are always willing to play, and at the same time will quiet down to snuggle on the sofa. They are good with kids, people and any other pet. (unless you get one that's already full grown and maybe raised terribly). I can't say enough good things about them. Some do snore, so if your planning on sleeping with one, lets hope it doesn't snore. One thing they are all good at doing and that's passing gas. They can certainly clear a room. The pros outweigh the cons though. |

Well my only worry is that Gizmo will reject him (hubby wants a boy... talk about 3 to 1 lol) ..anyhow since Gizmo is going to be 2 yrs old this July,..... who knows I am hoping he warms up to the idea..... he might just surprise us...... Heck Gizmo might give him a run for his money.. my kiddo can sure pass some serious GAS.... lol |
