Someone hit a cat right in front of my house last night, I heard something and thena bunch of like whooping and hollering and I went out there and it was some group of teenagers and they kept on driving...the poor cat it was everywhere and they didn't even care to stop to do anything about it

I wondered if they hit it on purpose the way they were acting

I got a box and put on some gloves and got some tools and went out there and tried to clean it up as best I could. I knew if I didn't, more animals would probably come out to get that and would get hit because it was all over the road. I burried the box in our backyard...the worst part was the cat was just a mother and from what I could tell the babies were developing and almost ready to be born. At first I thought maybe they could be saved but they were all clearly dead. It got me very upset over the whole thing...I don't like dealing with dead animals anyway...let alone an animal that was killed like that...it was just so sad

You have a good heart to care for momma kitty & her babies like that. It's just awful when a pet is hit and no one stops to see if it belongs to anyone close by.

OMG, How horrible, but you do have a great heart for letting her & babies get a proper burial.... I hope who every hit her gets the same.....

Thank-you for being a caring person..... so many would just turn their head... but you gave that Mama kitty a proper farewell. It must have been really tough to do.....

Thanks, it wasn't easy. I'm a very sensitive person, especially when it comes to animals and seeing anything in pain or suffering just kills me. When I saw what had happened I went out there with a pit in my stomache just thinking to myself "what if she is still partuially alive...what am I going to do

" Her legs were one place, her stomach was another...it was just horrible

I looked closer at the road today and it looked like there were some tire marks out there, like they went forward and backed up a few times...it just makes me so sad that there are people out there that actually think hurting some other living creature is fun

Ugh, some people just make me sick.

How could anyone get a thrill out of hurting an innocent animal? It's wonderful that you were caring enough to go out and take care of her remains. Hopefully those kids get what they deserve for that.
