I am no where as good as V, yours are awesome!!!

But I am proud of myself

It did take me over five hours to figure out how to make it but I finally found a cool site with what to download and another one how to paste and save the layers. It's fun & frustrating to do but rewarding once you learn, it's easy!!

Here are the two links I used for help...The first one is where I got the site for the pics and The GIMP program I used to create the avater.

Good luck to anyone trying to make your own!!

Thanks to everyone for your compliments and advice. I will work on a new one and try to save the pics on a lower resolution, as you suggested and see what more I can do!

5 hours...wow....it will probably take me 10 since it takes me 5 to do a picture

Your avatar looks great!!! I tried to do it the with programs I found off here NO LUCK

I would get the pictures rotating but the pictures looked funny I dunno it was just a big mess and I stayed up ALL NIGHT trying to do it!!!

LOL......I will definetly look into this program though.....THANKS!!

Oh My Lord....

I finally got something to work on animating my avatar. I COULD NOT have done it without previewing the past posts that Villette shared on this thread. I finally went into picresize and that worked great. This was by far the easiest way to change a photo to a gif. Now I just have to figure out how to add text and take some better pictures. My brain is in overload right now. Villette if you see this Thank you Thank you for all of your free tutoring.
