My Tiny Treasures Donating Member | What are your Plans for New Years? My husband and I quit drinking and smoking 3 years ago so we don't go out but what we have done since then is every New Years Eve we splurge on our selfs and buy Lobsters , Shrimp, and HUGE Crab legs and celebrate with our expensive food that we don't normally buy through the year. Then we rent a few movies. Works for me!!! I love my husband much more with a "food" belly rather than a beer belly (makes for a much happier relationship as well) ! |

| My husband and I never go out on New Year's Eve. We usually stay in and I cook a nice dinner. Then he'll probably fall asleep on the couch and I'll watch The Honeymooners marathon!!! |

| We'll do what we do every New Years - deer camp! Hubby and my youngest are already there (they left last night). I had to work today so me and my oldest will head up there this evening and stay until Monday afternoon. On New Years Eve, those who want to partake of a "bevarage" do so (no one drives anywhere, just has to make it to their respective trailers) and we'll play cards. Right before midnight, we'll go outside and the kids will shoot off their fireworks (drives the deer and other critters up there NUTS!!...LOL). Then we'll go back, finish the card game, maybe start another one, and usually head to bed around 2:00. We'll get up and all the camp members will prepare a dish and we share a New Years Day meal - then we'll head home. We have a lot of fun as theirs no crowds, no traffic, and you don't have to worry about being on the roads. Happy New Year to you all!

| This year were going to our friends house who just moved in down the street. It's going to be a close friend and family thing, but should be fun We really don't have any money to go out anywhere, it's soo expensive. My dad wants to go to Navy Pier though and watch the fire works, but I dont think we'll be doing that.
