Donating YT 11K Club Member | What did you get for your friends/family? One really big present I was excited to get for my mother was the Isqueez foot and calf massager from Brookstone. It cost me a lot but my mom deserves it and she's like the only person I bought something for and my bf. She LOVES it! She's a nurse and works at a hospital so she's always on her feet walking around, and hardly ever gets to sit down so I figured it would come in handy. Everytime I went to Brookstone I would sit and try it and it feels soooo good. So she loves it and I'm SO happy! Anyone else gave a really good present this year to someone that deserved it and were really happy? Please share |

| I did. I took a senior to the local mall and let her take a picture with Santa. Then I ordered 5 pictures and a keychain. The keychain and the one picture for the senior. The other 4, for each of her children. She sat on Santa's lap and smiled away. Santa was so nice to her. He had tears in his eyes when she told him she had never in her life came to sit on Santa's lap. She is now 92 years old. The last time she went to see Santa was when her children were around 5 she said. She loves her key chain & her picture and is very proud of both. Her children have not opened their's yet.

| The kids in our youth group donated over $400 to one of our local animal shelters. I got my grandmother an indoor antenna for her tv --- she has one of those big ones on a tall pole outside --- so we got a nice good one for inside and hooked it up for her --- nothing big, but something much needed for her and her safety! --- just to make her life alittle easier. I got my other grandmother a big hanging file folder container w/ lid, put in and labeled the files and made a big label for the outside of the containter and a printed coupon to spend a day of organizing the family history papers w/ her --- she is big on family history and just has the papers in boxes, so this will be a nice, organized and easier way to get to the papers. Plus, I printed up labels for her w/ bluebirds on them (she loves bluebirds). For three other family members, we got a big basket and filled it w/ everyday items (some that we think we would like to try, but never do, etc) --- Plus, one item that they wanted - like a CD, shirt, etc. Examples: Mr. Clean Magic Erasers, Swiffer Duster Sets, Febreeze Air Spray, Body Spray, Nice lotions and feet and hand moisturizing gloves/socks, Tide To Go Pens, etc....filled the baskets full of that kind of stuff --- all sorts of things that can be used every day.
