| Navel Rings Ok this is a pregnancy question.. For all of you who had babies and had a navel ring, did you take it out? I'm not sure if I want to. I have heard horror stories that is leave a big hole where your ring used to be.. I have also heard they there is a such thing as a pregnancy navel ring.. I would love some insight on this.. I have wrote this down as one of my questions for my next weeks visit... |

| My friend had to take hers out too. She had a little scar but not a hole. She had hers re-pierced as well. |

| I still have a hole where mean was....it was taken out about 4-5 years ago and the hole is still there. I have never tried to see if it has grown back up (heard they grow up fast), but I have never had it pierced again either. Note: I didn't take mine out because I was pregnant, just took it out and kind of forgot about it for awhile.....

| I took mine out at around 7 or 8 months, then left it out for a couple of months. It never closed, though, and I just put the ring back in.

| I used to work on labour ward and have seen several ladies keep theirs in for the whole pregnancy. I think its a matter of preference.

| I took mine out within a week after finding out I was pregnant. I am 35 weeks pregnant now and the hole is def. closed. My hole is very small and I'm kinda glad I took it out cause I think it would annoy me being there since my stomach has stretched out.

| I think I'm going to run with it and see how long it will last with a different ring in.. One of the PTFE ones.. I would hate to take it out because it represents a special time in my life.. but if it gets to be too uncomfortable or the doctor makes me take it out. I will. Thanks for all the info guys!! I knew I could count on you all! |

Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | i kept mine in for 2 pregnancies never had a problem it didn't bother me one bit you just have to watch it to make sure it looks ok but honestly unless you have your belly button pop out (extremely) there shouldn't be a problem i had a hoop though not a bar bell i think the hoop gives it more room for your belly to grow
