| Dose any one know? I was looking at my prenatal vitamins and on the back it has I.U where it shows how much of whatever is in it.. (Example Iron......400 I.U.) What dose I.U. mean? I have never seen it before on medication... Dose any one know? |

| It stands for International Units -- a measure based on the actual potency/action of the ingredient so it doesn't equate to any specific milligram/gram type measurement.
