| My new bed/headboard I thought I'd post a pic or two of our new bed....I made the headboard out of MDF, quilt batting and covered it in creme velvet. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I also made a cover for it in green velvet just in case I want to change it up every now and then. We got a king sized bed this time so there's enough room for hubby, myself, the furkids and the teenagers (when they pile on to watch movies tv with us and to snuggle with the pups!) The bedding isn't exactly my choice, but the price was right. I paid 50 bucks for a bed in a bag that was stickered $380.00 as the original price...so I learned to like yellow and hydrangeas...lol! Oh...this is my first post with my new avatar....thanks Villette...you are a sweetheart! |

| How creative! I need to do that. Since we got the king size bed, I don't have a headboard. There always seems like other things to shop for and I haven't gotten around to that room. Maybe I should enlist hubby's help after the holidays.

| Thanks for the compliments! The headboard was originally the one I made for our queensized bed. We cut it down the middle and added a piece of mdf. It takes no time to upholster it at all. You can buy the buttons to cover and just drill the holes for their string to go through the headboard. It's alot of fun to do and really, anyone can do it...it's so easy. |

| I will not show this to Sophie's parents, they'll want a new bed!!!!! Oh, it's so beautiful. Now i'm feeling cramped with hubby and 4 Yorks in our tiny Queen Bed. I wonder how we did it all of those summers with 2 dogs in the V Berth of our Catalina sailboat.

| I love the headboard and the bedding. My Daughter and I made a picke fence headboard for her room. It turned out so cute!!! We whitewashed it. She just sold it in a yard sale. |
