| Worried about a loved one... What do you if it's late and a loved one still isn't home? My husband left for an appointment at 5:00 (6 hours ago) to get a car sterio he bought at Bestbuy installed into the SUV. The place is only about 10 minutes away. But I called BestBuy and they closed 2 hours ago. I know he wouldn't cheat on me or anything like that I'm just worried if he's okay. He also always calls me, esspecially if something comes up. Now it's 11:00 and I haven't heard anything. I'm so worried and it's too late to call anyone and ask for advice |

| I don't blame you....I think you have good cause to be worried! I hope everything turns out alright, but for your own peace of mind, maybe call the area hospitals? I'm sorry, and again, hope he arrives home safe soon!

| I'm not sure at what point do I call the police or hospitals. I know that the police make you wait 24 hours. I wish we hadn't sold my car or I'd be out looking for him. But I'm pregnant and I have a son. I don't even really have any friends closeby to call. I don't want to tie up the phone lines either. I know I'm a worry-wart, but I feel like something is wrong. He is a REAL family man. The navy has taken him away from us so much that he can't stand not being with us. He doesn't even go out with friends unless it is a group thing with the family. |

| I called Highway Patrol and the police department. They said there are no accidents and he hasn't been arrested. I just don't know what's going on. There's no way BestBuy can still be working on the SUV and if they were I'm sure he would call. |

| I called the hospital and they said they didn't have him admitted. He goes to work in 6 hours. I'm so tired and I don't know what else to do. |

| He's fine. He just got home and trust me, I "greeted" him at the door. He said they had problems with the SUV and Bestbuy broke my door. The installation part of Bestbuy stayed open later than the store. He tried to help them out and lost track of time and didn't realize it got to be midnight. I reminded him of the time when I was an hour late from work because I was talking to my supervisor and he was upset that I didn't call. We're definately getting cell phones. I don't care if it becomes his leash. Anyways, thank you all for your prayers and responses. I'm thankful that it didn't turn out worse. I'm still mad at him so he might wish something worse had happened! He now knows how worried and upset I was... |

| I'm glad things turned out ok. I was going to post that my husband had a similar experience with Best Buy...it took sooo much longer than they thought to install something. Guys don't realize that if they're going to be running late(especially if the store has closed) CALL HOME. After 15 years of marriage I'm finally getting that through to my husband but he'll still slip up now and then. Cell phones are a life saver(although that doesn't guarantee that you'll be able to get through or he'll have a signal
