Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | LOL i'm sorry but the image in my head is just hilarious! well what you can do is take the cup off. its not going to attack you if you pull if off real fast and run away. that's what i'd do. he's probably terrified and is gonna bolt as soon as you get his head out.

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | LOL possums aren't that bad. i've trapped them many times when i try to catch strays in the yard. they just hiss at you but won't actually attack you. take the cup off and run.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I personally wouldn't go near it. I'd wait and see is it gets it off by itself and goes away.

| found a kitten with the same problem... A couple of years ago I found a kitten with the same problem. I'm glad you did something about it, I was going to suggest calling one of your guy friends to come and help. Unfortunately it wasn't a freak occurence, animals get caught in trash all the time. We saw a kitten running around the apartment complex with what looked like a weird collar on. When I got closer I saw what it really was... the top of a Mcdonalds McFlurruy cup. If my friend and I didn't catch that kitten it wouldn't have been long until she would have straggled herself and died because it was wedged on her good. What I figured happened was that she tried to drink out of a cup through the lid, broke free from the cup but still had it around her neck. Who knows for how long she ran around like that. In the pictures below I took pictures as my friend helped the kitten out. I ask that everyone be careful about their trash, and cut the lids of these cups before they throw them out. I noticed that Carl's jr sells the same thing now. Maybe if we wrote these companies they would package things differently. |

| Well, I had never heard of such a thing. I will be more careful from now on. What a scary situation for all involved. |
