| I'm having a HORRIBLE day!! I need to vent really, really bad...so here goes. 1.) My day started at 2:00 AM this morning. Husband snoring. It has gotten worse and so loud. I didn't get back to sleep until 4:30 AM and then alarm goes off at 5:30 AM. I'm a school bus driver so I have got to have some sleep. He promised tonight he would use the spray and nasal strips. If this doesn't work, it has got to be separate rooms. 2.) Had to talk with school officials about a cute, sweet little girl I think is being neglected at home. She started ktgn two years ago, but couldn't finish because she didn't even know how to use a fork and spoon. She came back this year in the 1st grade, she rides my bus. Her home life is horrible, she lives near me. She told the 1st grade boys on the bus she wanted to take their clothes off. She swears like a drunken man. She lives with a 20 year old aunt and the aunt's step-father. They sent her a lunch with a banana, brownie and snack cake. Both are on disabiltity for mental problems. The mother lives in town sleeping around. There is so much more to tell about her, but I have a meeting with school officials in the morning. They called Child Services. I hope something can be done to help her. It makes me so sad. I truly love the kids on my bus, or I wouldn't be doing the job. 3.) When I got home my brother called, they rushed my 83 year old mother to the ER. She's got a leaking heart valve. They will be running tests all week. 4.) The to top it off, a lady just called me wanting to use my Joey as a stud......for her 3 lb 2 oz female. I just started crying on the phone. I told her "kindly" that there was NO WAY IN HELL I would let my Joey breed with a female under 5 lbs. NO WAY and if she loved her female she would have her spayed. Sorry so long, but I just needed to vent and I just hope and pray nothing else happens before I lay my head down on my pillow. I'm so tired. Thanks for reading.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Sending hugs to you. Sorry to hear about your mom....and that poor little girl - I hope they can take a good look at her situation and do what is best for her - good for you speaking up. On the snoring - those Strips do work - maybe it won't be seperate rooms after all ? and about that lady breeding her tiny girl I don't blame you for crying and getting really upset with her - after the day you had that's all you needed. But thinking about it - you really didn't have a bad day - you had a productive day - especially telling that woman off. You also helped a little Girl .....and you actually convinced a Man that he snores without a Tape Recording of it ....Apart from your mom being sick - that's a pretty good day to me !! |

| Sending hugs your way! I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I'll be praying for her -- please keep us updated on her condition. As for that little girl -- you did the right thing!! Thank you for speaking up on behalf of her -- poor little baby. And that woman who wanted to breed her tiny female ... I'd like to slap her silly!!! As far as hubby snoring, what can I say ... mine does too! I usually roll him over!! Sometimes, when he really drives me nuts, I push him off the bed!! Afterward he yells at me for waking him up but I tell him well now you know how I feel after being up 2 hours from your snoring!!!

| You all are the GREATEST!! I hope you know that. I had a conference with school officials today, with little Patty. It's out of my hands now unless Child Services wants to talk with me personally. So I'm praying everything works out for her. I am still suppose to report anything unusual or abnormal in Patty's behavior. Mom is home, but I will be taking her for a lot of tests this week to find out what is wrong. Hopefully what ever it is, they can fix and get her back to normal. I do realize at 83 things are going to happen as far as her health. I've been lucky to have her this long, hopefully a lot longer. I hope the lady who wanted to breed her tiny girl, took my advice and just didn't say she was going to spay her just to get me to shut up. Guess I'll never know for sure. My husband and son went to scouts last night and informed me the air conditioning in my Van quit. My husband used the spray and nose strips last night and I had a very peaceful sleep. Then when I woke up this morning hubby informed me that he went to the kitchen (after starting the dishwasher) and there was water all over the floor. So without waking me, he got everything dry under the sink and cleaned up. He knew how bad my day had been, and decided he could handle the leak. So today is going good so far...keeping my fingers crossed....LOL....I love you guys!!!!

It sounds like you have such a wonderful and kind husband. Despite the leak and the ac in your van, I hope your day is nothing short of fabulous! You deserve it!! If your hubby's snoring gets worse, maybe he could try going to a sleep doctor. My dad did this for his snoring and sleep apnea and they put him on a C-pap machine. He sleeps with it every night and he no longer snores. It also helps my mom get a peaceful night's sleep because no only does my dad not snore anymore, but the drone of the machine really helps her sleep well!

Those C-Paps are great for sleep apnea - I'm glad your husband did this as that can be a serious problem. My husband has it really bad and scares the heck out of me at night. So far I can't talk him into the C-Pap because he thinks along with the Oxygen hose it will be too much ....and I just can't convince him that Sleep Apnea can cause a heart attack !

| What exactly are C-paps? Hope I don't feel really ditso when I read the answer....LOL The spray and strips worked great for last night, but we'll see as time goes on. He does have a form of sleep apnea where in the middle of the night, not alot, maybe 6 or 7 times a year, he'll wake up heaving for air, making this awful sound. I've tried to convince him to see a Dr. for it, but he hasn't done it and probably won't.
