| Lightning Bolt! We got slammed with rain last night. It was a severe thunderstorm and tornado warning! We were safely in our condo...but wow! Areas around us got golf-ball-sized-hail, but we were fine. I took these pictures off of my balcony - and I know I photoshop a lot, but I *promise* these pictures have not been enhanced, changed, etc. in any way except resizing them for the internet from my 8mp Nikon (no flash). The 1st picture: The weather forecast last night. (Doppler radar image-not taken with my camera, of course.) 2nd pic:The dark night: (10:30pm-ish & the orange is a streetlight to the left) 3rd pic:.............LIGHTING!!! - See the bolt!? OMG! I am so proud of myself right now....even though this particular camera has a bit of a delay so this was pretty much pure *luck*. (I've heard no reports of this storm doing any damage except a few minor power outages in our area. Which is a good thing b/c we were watching the SURVIVOR Finale at the time, and the weather reports kept cutting in! Haha...grr!) Darnit Terry didn't win!

| awesome pics!!! We had some major weather here too...severe thunderstorm, quarter size hail, heavy thunder, lots of lightning, rain in sheets..power loss for 5 hours! Got kinda scary for a short time when the tornado warning came through..had 2 touch down within 30 mins of us.

| We worried about our cars, too, but luckily our side of town didn't get any hail. Wow, I didn't know how huge and widespread this storm was, Amy! No power huh? We had candles and a hurricane lamp ready but didn't need it. (Sorry about the picture problems....they should work now.)

| Yeah, it was pretty freaky here too, weather wise! Greensboro got marble and tangerine sized hail!! I am so happy we are protected by the hills, and only got a lot of wind and rain. But the storms would come, rain rain rain, and then the SUN would come out. 20 minutes later it would cycle all over again!! STRANGE weather!!! Happy you and Sully made it through the storms! Dreama was a nervous wreck all day! Wosie on the other hand could care less. She can nap through anything!
