how hard would it be to add a D-ring by hand? - YorkieTalk.com Forums

I got a dress of ebay for Daisy the other day, and I would love to be able to add a D ring to it to use as a harness dress. i dont have a sewing machine. Do you think I could do it by hand with the ribbon?

I hate to have these pretty dresses and shirts on her then put her harness over it..so would love to just be able to attach the leash right to the dress.

What do you think?

I think by hand would be OK. I would just make sure that you use a strong thread and make sure it is doubled. You don't want it ripping off.

Hand sewing can be done just as well as a machine. MAke sure you secure it on there really well then it shoulc be fine!! The closer the stiches together the stronger it will be.
