My hubby's cousin took her Chihuahua to the vet the other day to have her spayed. They called her a few hours later and told her to come get her dog. I have been told that this "vet" doesn't even do any procedures, he can't see good, so the assistants do them. Oh, and they aren't qualified...just off the street!!!!! Is there somewhere you can report Vets to, I mean like to have them inspected and such????

That is God Awful! What killed him? The anesthesia? That poor girl....there are SO many incompetent vets out there...

I don't think she even could think straight enough for an autopsy. I called her dad, but he was gone. I am going to tell him they need to persue legal actions. This is the most insane thing I have ever heard of. I don't know why anyone uses him...when you walk in his office, it reaks of urine smell. My parents had theirpoodle groomed there, until the day he was lit, and you couldn't wash that stink out of his fur. Oh, I am getting angry thinking about poor Jodi losing her baby all over again!!!!!


I don't know the details, I will talk to her dad and see if he got any thing out of the vet, as to what happened, etc.

How can one have a practice with vetenarians if they arent veternarians to begin with....sorry i just do not get it

Well...shockingly, alot of people use him. Like I said not me though! Some of the past girls were techs, but the girl I have seen is not. She is simply the office manager, heck, I was an office manager... guess I should've helped with the surgeries too!

My mother in law was confused too. She called to their office a few weeks ago and they said they didn't even spay/neuter anymore, and then this??? Maybe something else had happened and he had stopped??? I don't know, it is all so heartless to me.
