Two scorpions in my house and now this!

I take the girls outside to go potty and I look up by my door to see this. A nice big fat black tarantula!!! DH was trying to tell me they eat scorpions so I would leave it alone.

So why are these critters all of a sudden coming out? Are they preparing for winter maybe???

But it is only August?? I don't know why they all of a sudden want to come and enjoy my home with me. Lets just say they are not welcome!!!! Sorry for the fuzzy picture. I didn't want to get any closer!

OMG Rhonda!! I would be freaked out of my mind!! Call an exterminator!!! I wonder if it is because it has been so dry in your area this summer??

yikes....my dh buys beyer spray at lowes and that might be a good route if you dont want to have the exterminator visit. good luck i hope the varmits leave you and the girls alone!

I think it could be from the dry weather. I just don't know. I just want them to go back where they came from!

I like living on the coast here.. the occasional puma or bobcat even a bear a few years ago...we havehave black widows and brown recluse but in my home area racoons and rats are the only pests that tresspass ewww and possums.

I can't handle the thought of pests ppl in other places deal with I'd be freaking out 24/7...you're very brave.

We have a pest control that sprays our house perimeter monthly and yard seasonally is there anything like that you can do for those pests?

Oh No I would have freaked out. I use home defense spray and it really works good you can get it at Wal Mart.

Tht is what DH used. He sprayed the house yesterday. Hoping we won't see any more critters!
