| fess up How many have read, plan to read or are reading 50 shades of Grey? I refused to buy it due to the price for the ebook. But my sister in law was able to get the printed version of the trilogy where she works for free. I have started the first one, wow. I only have one thing i do not like about it and it is that it is in first person. not a fan of that. But interesting. Just wondered about your feelings on the book. Not trying to offend anyone. It is certainly racy.

| From what I've heard about it, I just have no interest in reading it. I might have gotten the wrong impression, but it doesn't sound like I'd enjoy it much. Enjoy and let us know what you think

Donating YT 500 Club Member | TBH, the more I hear references to it, the more curious I do get. I have so very little time to read though and a trilogy would have to be absolutely the best ever for me to devote that kind of time.

| I read all 3 books. At first I didnt want to read them. Then I decided I was gonna read it and find out what all the "hoopla" was all about. I have to say..I really enjoyed them. If you really analize it...its really just a love story. Yes its a different kind of love story... but in today's society...what's "Normal" anymore? Even my husband read them...and he enjoyed them also.

♥Love My 3 Furrbutts♥ Donating Member | I am planning on reading it....waiting to pry it out of my daughters hands! I was going to buy it, but my daughter said dont bc she has it! Ok well it saved me some money, and she is finished reading it, but I STILL haven't gotten it from her. *Sigh* I could be waiting til judgement day.....maybe I'll just go and get it myself. Costco has the trilogy for $25.00! Watch now I'll go back to get it and it will be gone!

| Not me! From what I've heard of it, the man in the books sounds like an animal and I would likely have him arrested or sue him or worse if some guy treated me that way. Sounds like anything but love, respect and affection going on there.

| I didn't make it through the first book. I thought it was poorly written, repetitive, and extremely boring, with a simplistic presentation of bdsm relationship. I had to laugh at msyorktown's comment though, as my daughter took the book back to college with her & read it, and then bought the second book herself.

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | I hadn't been planning on reading it...but now I have to bc I want to understand the hype. I've heard it's an interesting read, and quite unique in terms of....some things.

| I read all three. They were poorly written and the plot itself just seems really unbelievable. Yes, it is a fictional love story, but a lot of it just left me shaking my head. I didn't get all the hoopla.

| I have shook my head a lot of times so far, and laughed at some things. I have read out loud some parts to my husband, and he has had some of the same reactions. I can not understand all the hype over it. I have no problem reading things on any subject matter unless it just bores me. I found this pic i thought was cute about it. I think it can get people talking and opening up some communication between partners. All in all, so far I think it is interesting and some of it has me wondering what people actually will do for love or passion.

| Its a xrated Twilight remake. I am mid way through the 3rd book for over a month now. I read the first book fast and thought it was pretty good for what it was! Ive seen things all over facebook referencing the new race of '50 shades babies' lol like the blizzard of 78 babies (here in New England) ... the second book got slower and more boring and the 3rd book I haven't gotten through it in more than a month. Just like twilight series, first was great, then it got more & more boring as the series went on, until I could barely get through the last book. I get so turned off with the 'I love him so much', 'I love her so much', 'I can't live w/o him/her', 'i'll die if they leave me', etc... gggrrrrr seriously... grow up! LOL (I'm VERY independent if you can't tell! LOL)

| LOL, all these different perspectives are as intersting as the books. I shook my head most of the way through the first book, and liked the second better, and heard the third one is not as good. I have gotten really frustrated with the repetitive use of the same words, over and over.
