| Waiting on layoffs.... they are coming... today, this week, this month... we were told they are coming. we are all just sitting around waiting to be told whether we have a job or not. Makes for a VERY low morale at work all the time!

| Thanks! Im actually not worried about myself at all.... I think my job is pretty secure... I'm worried about the state of the company. So many people just don't care anymore, they are just riding things out, not coming in, using all their sick time, personal time off, not getting projects done on time, etc... I guess I just don't have that mentality. I care about the company and want to see it come back to its former glory. I work so hard, come in everyday, do my job, do it well, offer help where needed, learn new things... I just wish people would stop letting it beat them down and double their efforts... you never know what could come of that!

| I am so sorry. My school did a RIF a few years ago. I remember the waiting game feeling well. It's horrible. I really do think it affects everyone even if you still keep your job. I hate it for all of you.

| I'm sorry to hear that. It's the worst feeling to know your about to or may lose your job. It's stomach turning and it makes work no fun to go to. It's so sad so many people are losing their jobs. It will work out. It always does, even when you think it wont. Good luck! Sending prayers and positive thoughts. |

| People will stop caring once they know they are about to get laid off. It's hard not to. The only reason most of them still come is because they want to be eligible for unemployment. A lot of companies don't even give notice for that reason, I think. Worried of what people will do when they are upset or don't care... Not show up, not do their job well, steal, etc.. |

| It is so sad to hear about so much trouble in this country and so many are going through this. I am so glad your job is pretty safe and you can still be working. But to think of all of those people just waiting for the end of their livelihood is heartbreaking.

| Oh I know! So many people here are proactive, they found jobs and left the company... making this place really quiet and lonely and empty! Morale is so low, there was actually a manager meeting yesterday to discuss how to raise it. They are making a 'playroom' here with a foosball table, Wii game console and other things.... just to try to keep people's spirits up... but the ironic part of that is, with soooo many people leaving those that are left have too much work to do to go to a playroom!

| No, it's healthcare. It's a company that has onsite health coaches with 24/7 support for members, manages data for health insurance companies, provides disease management & wellness health programs for members of insurance companies. I work in IT as an application developer. IT is always a revolving door of people when it comes to layoffs, cutbacks and just natural attrition. People make more and people want to make more than that.....
